dot11stream.com was created mainly to share valuable information about Wi-Fi technology to the community. It will contain study notes to various wireless certifications, packet capture analysis, vendors’ best practises and many more. There will be a lot of frames analysis with different protocols as this is the most interesting part of 802.11 troubleshooting – frames never lie.
About me:
My name is Piotr Lewandowski and I work as Senior Wireless Network Engineer at Atos. Previously I used to work in TAC and Advanced Services of Motorola Solutions / Zebra Technologies.
I started my work with networking, which included R&S, SP, wireless and some security and voice stuff in 2009. Working for a service provider AT&T I had an option to go either in SP or wireless field. I decided Wi-Fi is far more interesting and since 2013 I am specializing strictly in it.
I do have extensive experience with ex-Symbol -> Motorola -> Zebra -> Extreme WING5 portfolio in small, medium and large environments.
Now I work with a company with Wi-Fi installtions transforming from Extreme IdentiFi and Cisco to Aruba Networks’ MM, MCs, IAPs with Airwave.
I hope this blog might interest some wireless networks individuals š
Since May 2019 I am CWNE #312.
